La section CodeShare de la plate-forme collaborative EL Commons se développe de plus en plus. On en est désormais à environs 200 contributions, soit une croissance de 15% par rapport à 2009.

The most popular OpenURL link resolver in the world, SFX offers a wealth of features that go far beyond the basic link-resolver functionality of generating context-sensitive links to the full text of scholarly materials and library-defined services. Additional features include the A-Z e-journal title list and the CitationLinker search form—interfaces that enable end users to access the library’s e-collections—and administrative tools for collection management and statistics analyses, including the UStat service for analyzing COUNTER reports. Libraries have an option to also provide the bX article recommender service, which leverages SFX usage logs to generate recommendations for scholarly materials related to the researcher’s interests.

Assemblée générale ce 26 janvier 2011 : présentation de l’URM
La prochaine Assemblée générale de l’ACEF se tiendra à Paris le mercredi 26 janvier 2011.
L’ordre du jour exact sera communiqué sur le site dans les prochaines semaines. Signalons toutefois que parmi les points qui seront très certainement abordés, on aura notamment :
- l’organisation IGeLU (International Group of Ex Libris Users) : ses objectifs, son organisation, son utilité pour la communauté des clients Ex Libris
- le congrès IGeLU 2010
- le nouveau site web de l’ACEF
- les formations 2011
- support : la Support Escalation Policy
- la nouvelle plate-forme NERS pour les demandes de développement
- et enfin, une présentation de l’Unified Resource Management (URM)
Pour cette présentation de l’URM, l’ACEF aura le plaisir d’accueillir Axel Kaschte, responsable Stratégie Ex Libris Europe. Désirée concrète, la présentation fera la part belle à une démo de cet outil de nouvelle génération amené à révolutionner le back-office (sélection, acquisition, catalogage, gestion, livraison, circulation, PEB) de l’ensemble des documents et ressources des bibliothèques, et ce indépendamment du support ou de la localisation, et ainsi à remplacer progressivement (!) les SIGB Aleph et Voyager, Verde, DigiTool…
